Abstract Art Project - Vertical Lines
Abstract art project, vertical lines. Using canvas and acrylics.
13th April 2013. Images and project to follow. idea to apply one coat of blue all over, then apply layer of lighter blue and black. Then use spatula to remove and blend coloured layers.

Abstract Art project - Horizons
13th April 2013.
Producing a number of paintings in acrylics, using a limited pallet of colours, size of canvas 2'x3' or larger for use as mood paintings to be placed around my works premises.
Look in Google image search for inspiration.
Painted all over canvas in white, then dropped lumps of pure paint colour onto the canvas in a yellow and dark blue, brushed across panel in horizontal movement from right to left. Then added more white to the middle zone, used texture tools to increase depth of painting.
